10 Things I Love...

Every other week I'm going to try to do a " 10 Things I Love " post. They really don't have a huge purpose other than just listing 10 random things I like from the week. I will warn you guys it will be random {anything from clothes, decorating, food....... } so here goes my first attempt! :)

Looking Back...

Back on Feb. 3rd Broken City and Sandon played some music at the store. I realized I never did a recap of the night...

It was a small crowd, but that's OK.  Things started off a little rough, problems with equipment/ power  but after  it was all figured out it was super. The guys did a fantastic job { as per usual } and people seemed to enjoy the ridiculous amount of cupcakes and coffee.

Valentine's Day

First off let me start by saying a HUGE Thank You to Dani for working at the store on Friday!! And for doing an awesome post! Second, I'm sorry to anyone who tried to come in on Saturday to find us closed.
As of last week everything is ready for us to start taking children's clothes!! Our check list though has one more thing to be checked off....
Wallpaper: Done
Install Trees: Done
Put Up Racks: Done
Get Child Size Hangers: Done
Put Out Children's Clothes: I kind of need your help with that one... We still take consignment items in on Monday, Tuesdays, and Wednesday. If you are bringing items in make sure you have time to stick around while we go through them. {We're no longer taking winter items}

So with Jordyn away from the store for a couple days due to family circumstances, the time has approached for me to finally help out at the store. I have been promising Jordyn for some time that i wanted to volunteer some time, and after my fun trip to england where i got to stock the store up with some english delights, it seems only timely that i should now be sat behind the front desk here!

So with my mother from Medicine Hat visiting sat with me, and a camera in hand, we thought we would give you a little taste of some valentines outfits for the big LOVE day!

DANI ADVICE MOMENT:: If you see a dress that looks to be a little too baggy or maybe won't flatter your figure but you love the print or the colour, or even if you love how comfortable it is, always try a belt with it. A waist belt can pretty much save any dress! In fact, put one in that handbag of yours when you go shopping, that way you always have one on hand!

February

I must apologise for neglecting the blog this past week. It has been crazy around here lately, between getting ready to take kids clothes, and getting everything ready for the show on Thursday night I haven't had time to update the blog!! 
I can't believe its February already! January went by way to fast, but I'm hoping these next few months go by just as fast.( I REALLY want it to be spring, I'm done with winter. ) And now that it's a little closer to spring we will no longer be taking in winter clothing at the store. Bring on the spring and summer items!! :)
PLUS This Thursday night Broken City, and Sandon will be playing a show at the store. They are FABULOUS musicians and I'm so excited that they are going to be playing here. We will also have some treats to snack on. So Thursday night stop in for Live Music, Cute Clothes, Coffee, and Cupcakes ( sounds like an excellent night to me!!)
